How do I get started?

The website has been designed to make the process very easy.

• Step 1
  Initially when entering the site for the first time you will be asked for your email address and a password of your choice. This information is only held to allow you to upload the files for an instant quote and to send you confirmation of an order should you wish to proceed with the order. If you accept the quote and wish to proceed with the upload to rp.delcam.com will help you through the process.
• Step 2
  We will ask for your details and guide you to the secure payment area. This will open an account for you to use any time you re-visit to the website.
• Step 3
  When you have completed this stage, rp.delcam.com will process the files within 48 hours; working week, email confirmation of the order and your unique tracking number. When the items are ready to dispatch a tracking number for shipping will be forwarded to your email address so that you can track your items online.

How could RP benefit me?

How can I receive a discount?

Delcam have many options available to receive discounted models.

• Delcam Advantage Customers:
  Subscribe online to the Advantage program and receive 10 free models worth £940 and half price models for the duration of the membership. *
• Delcam Designer:
  Upgrade from PowerSHAPE-e to Delcam Designer and receive 10 free models worth £800 and half priced models for the duration of your subscription.
• ArtCAM JewelSmith:
  Purchase ArtCAM JewelsSmith Designer on-line and receive 10 free models and half priced models for the duration of your subscription.
• PowerSHAPE-e:
  Download the full CAD software at no cost from www.delcam.com. Design using the software and upload the model to RP.DELCAM.COM and receive 33% discount for any models created using this format.

How do I get a quotation?

It is possible to receive an instant on-line quotation from our web-site. Enter the files for uploading and Delcam will calculate and clearly display the final price before uploading begins. Once the price has been agreed the site will guide you through the payment process.

Alternatively if you cannot find what you are looking for you can send us your image along with your contact details and we will send you a quotation.

What types of files can I send?

It is possible to send files in any type of 3D format, through our secure ftp site. STL files will be the standard exchange format. When using PowerSHAPE-e (free Delcam CAD software) a 33% discount is available for models using this format.

What happens once I have placed my order?

Once the order has been placed confirmation details of the upload will be sent via e-mail advising you of the unique tracking number. During the RP process it is possible to monitor the items through to dispatch. When the items are ready for dispatch you will receive tracking details of the parcel via e-mail enabling tracking of items at all times.

How long does it take?

After successful upload of your order we will process the 3D data and return the finished wax/resin model to you within 48 hours (working days only, excluding Bank holidays and the festive season). Your model will either be sent to you using Royal Mail special delivery or FedEx depending on your location.

Where do I get my RP model cast?

It is up to you where you decide to have your items cast. The wax resins can be cast with other wax models, on the same tree, and by any casting company. If you prefer you can add the caster of your choice to the delivery section of your order and we will ship direct to this address.
